Fees and Payment
- Tuition and weekly lessons are scheduled per semester.
I have found that scheduling lessons on a semester basis promotes a long term commitment to studying the piano. Students are more conscientious about their preparation; derive more benefit from regular attendance; and progress faster.
- There is a fall and spring semester, 17 weeks each. A schedule will be provided.
- Lessons can be 30 or 45 minutes. 45 minute lessons reflect a 15% savings.
I highly recommend that students who have studied piano for 3 or more years take a 45 minute lesson. As the music becomes more advanced, it is difficult to make meaningful progress with 30 minute lessons.

Scheduling and Make-Up Lessons
- Lessons are scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons and evenings. Exceptions will be considered.
- Please have the courtesy to call me in advance if you can not attend a lesson.
- Lessons are not canceled due to weather conditions. Families are to determine if they want to miss a lesson due to weather conditions, and a make-up can be scheduled during one of the make-up sessions.
- Make-ups will be provided during pre-determined dates and times. At least 4 make-up sessions are offered throughout each semester. See the schedule.
- Student/parents are responsible for scheduling their own make-ups. I will not call you.
- If the student cannot attend any of the make-up sessions provided on the schedule, the make-up will be forfeited.
- Make-ups will not carry over to the next semester.
Recitals
A yearly recital will be held in the spring.
